Our Boston baked beans are a delectable, savory side dish that requires almost no prep time.
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup diced onion
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- 3 (15.5 oz) cans canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- In a skillet on medium-high, add bacon and cook 5 min., stiring occasionally. Add onion and cook an additional 5 min.
- To a slow cooker, add bacon and onions, 1 cup water, and remaining ingredients, stirring to combine. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
If you like your chili extra-spicy, add a few more chipotle peppers.
